- New Product – Mouser Now Offering Murata Electronics SCH16T-K10 6-DOF Gyroscope and Accelerometer for Robotics and Drone Applications
Mouser is now stocking the new SCH16T-K10 6 degrees-of-freedom (DOF) gyroscope and accelerometer from Murata Electronics. The SCH16T-K10 is the latest addition to Murata’s 6-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) series that delivers new standards in high-performance drone and robotics applications. The SCH16T-K10 provides unparalleled performance in challenging environments by enhancing gyroscope capabilities, offering a dynamic range ten times greater than the previous generation of IMUs. The SCH16T-K10 is based on 3D-MEMS technology with signal processing managed by a signal mixed-signal ASIC, which has selectable in-application settings featuring a 2000 degrees per second (dps) gyroscope measurement range, and a 16g accelerometer measurement range, making it ideal for drone navigation and other high-performance robotics applications. The SCH16T-K10 sensor’s market-leading vibration rectification capability allows precise measurements in vibrating environments. At the same time, its mechanical robustness ensures durability under high shocks, ensuring that measurements remain accurate and unsaturated even in dynamic conditions. The SCH16T-K10 features include a SafeSPI v2.0 interface, 20-bit and 16-bit output data, extensive self-diagnostics, and a compact SOIC-24 package with an 11.8 × 13.4 × 2.9 mm3 footprint. Application development based on the SCH16T-K10 is also supported by the SCH16T-K10-PCB sensor board.

- New Product – Mouser Now Stocking ROHM Semiconductor RY7P250BM Power MOSFET for Data Centre, AI, and Industrial Applications
Mouser is now offering the new RY7P250BM power MOSFET from ROHM Semiconductor. The RY7P250BM is optimised for hot-swap circuits in 48V power systems used in AI servers, data centres, industrial equipment, and energy storage applications. The MOSFET achieves an industry-leading low ON-resistance of 1.86mΩ (VGS=10V, ID=50A, Tj=25°C), approximately 18% lower than conventional 2.28mΩ wide-SOA 100V MOSFETs of the same size, minimising both power loss and heat generation in hot-swap controller (HSC) and AI server applications. The ever-increasing power and current demands of generative AI and high-performance GPUs necessitate robust protection. To deliver this, the MOSFET offers a wide Safe Operating Area (SOA) that enables it to withstand higher voltages while protecting against damaging inrush currents and overloads. This robustness is quantified by its stable performance under heavy loads, delivering 16A at 10ms and 50A at 1ms – figures that far exceed the limits of conventional MOSFETs, significantly improving overall system reliability and efficiency. In addition, the RY7P250BM also serves as a drop-in replacement for existing designs, allowing safe module swaps while systems remain powered on. Features include a 100V drain-source voltage (VDSS), ±300A drain current (ID), and 340W power dissipation (PD), all housed in a compact 8080-size package.
