Mouser is now stocking the new LBAD0XX1SC Type 1SC CAT M1 and NB-IoT module from Murata. The LBAD0XX1SC is the world’s smallest, global certified, ultra-low-power Cat M1/NB-IoT module for wearables, smart meters, healthcare, and asset-tracking applications. The tiny module (11.1 × 11.4 × 1.4 mm typical) is a breakthrough in LTE-M technology, allowing for connection anytime from anywhere, with a silver resin-shielded LGA package that includes a Sony ALT1250 transceiver, a front-end module (FEM), and 16MB external flash memory. The compact design is ideal for wearables that previously had no means of cellular connectivity. With an integrated TCXO that boasts robust low-drift thermal characteristics, the Type 1SC ensures a precise clock source for the RF transceiver, enhancing the reliability of your cellular connections with a user-friendly AT Command interface. The Type 1SC is designed to meet 3GPP release specifications and optimised for class 3 LTE output power (+23dBm), featuring external antenna configurations, 1.5μA hibernation current (average), and an OTA firmware upgrade. Application development with the LBAD0XX1SC module is supported by the LBAD0XX1SC-DM-EVK-B evaluation kit.

- New Supplier Agreement – Mouser and Northern Technologies Sign Global Distribution Agreement
Mouser announces a global distribution agreement with Northern Technologies, a division of the EDAC Group. Northern Technologies is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance shielding products for the data communications industry. Through the agreement, Mouser now stocks a wide range of Northern Technologies products, including connector covers, D-subminiature, SCSI, V.35, and modular-style connectors. Among the new products available from are:
- The D3 D-subminiature solder cup connectors feature a high-density design with 15, 26, 44, 62, or 78 positions. The D3 connectors are constructed using steel shell material, copper alloy contacts, and UL94V0-rated thermoplastic insulation.
- The DB D-subminiature dust covers are designed to protect D-sub connectors from dust and environmental contaminants. The covers are made from low-density polyethylene material, are available in white or translucent colours, and fit both male and female connectors.
- The DC D-subminiature crimp connectors are available in two variants: standard-density and high-density. The standard-density connectors come with 9, 15, 25, 37, and 50 positions, while the high-density connectors come in 15, 26, 44, and 62 positions. These connectors feature a durable steel shell and a UL94V-0 rated thermoplastic insulator.
- The DE D-subminiature solder cup connectors feature contacts made from machined and stamped copper alloys, providing excellent conductivity. These connectors are available in 9, 15, 25, 37, and 50 positions.
