- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Microchip Technology AVR SD 8-Bit Microcontrollers for Automotive, Industrial, Consumer and Medical Applications
Mouser is now stocking the new AVR® SD 8-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) from Microchip Technology. The MCUs incorporate the AVR CPU with a hardware multiplier running at clock speeds up to 20MHz for automotive safety systems, industrial automation, consumer electronics, security systems and medical device applications. These MCUs offer a flexible and low-power architecture, including an event system, accurate analogue features, and advanced digital peripherals with a dual-core lockstep CPU, single-error correcting and double-error detecting (SECDED) ECC on Flash(32/64KB), 4/8KB of SRAM, and 256 bytes EEPROM/SRAM error controller for functional safety, and program/debug interface disable (PDID) for security. The AVR SD MCUs are compliant with ISO 26262 (ASIL C) and IEC 61508 (SIL 2) safety standards and available in 20-, 28-, 32- and 48-pin packages. Mouser also stocks Microchip Technology’s AVR32SD32 Curiosity Nano evaluation kit (EV75S16A), offering a demonstration and development platform for the AVR SD MCUs.

- New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Altera’s Agilex 3 FPGA C-Series Development Kit for Edge and Embedded Applications
Mouser is now shipping the Agilex™ 3 FPGA C-Series development kit from Altera®. The development kit features a compact tabletop form factor, and an optional daughter card enables the card to plug into a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. The versatile, power-efficient board is ideal for embedded design applications in the industrial, medical, video, and security industries. This development kit includes an extensive range of features and connectors for edge and embedded applications. The kit offers DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces that support up to 8K video, MIPI connectors for mobile device cameras and displays, and LPDDR4 memory for efficient performance. The development kit allows connectivity to additional peripherals and devices through Raspberry Pi hardware attached on Top (HAT) add-on boards and Pmod connectors. The kit also includes an onboard USB Blaster III for FPGA programming and configuration, streamlining the development experience. The development kit is based on Altera’s Agilex 3 FPGAs and SoC FPGAs. These FPGAs and SoC FPGAs bring high performance to power- and cost-efficient designs with Hyperflex™ FPGA architecture and advanced transceiver technology. Agilex 3 devices also feature a novel Enhanced DSP (Digital Signal Processing) with an AI tensor block. The AI tensor capabilities allow developers to accelerate compute for pre-trained AI models with less power and logic utilisation compared to traditional FPGA fabrics. Typical applications include smart factory automation, EV charging, video processing, and medical imaging.

- New Product – Mouser Adds Latest Wi-Fi, Cellular and GNSS Antennas from Taoglas for IoT, Smart Home, and Navigation Applications

The PC60 and PC66 antennas offer a 617MHz to 6000MHz frequency range and support a wide range of 5G, 4G, and LTE cellular bands. At 90 × 15 mm2, these antennas offer a solution when size constraints limit the use of a larger antenna. These antennas are suitable for compact IoT devices, remote monitoring and security cameras, point-of-sale terminals, and more. The Olympian III antennas are high-performance combination permanent mount antennas in a rugged, IP67-rated enclosure. The Olympian III antennas are offered in three variants: MA181, MA182 and MA183. The Olympian III series is ideal for smart metering, digital signage, transportation, and telematics. The HP2356.A Inception series is a low-profile GNSS patch antenna designed for optimum positional accuracy and positioning. The AA.185 Magma magnetic/adhesive mount antenna offers GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou L1/E1/B1 coverage in a robust ASA IP67-rated enclosure, allowing it to be used internally or externally in challenging environments. Both the Inception and Magma antennas are ideal for applications such as telematics, fleet management, asset trackers, precision agriculture, and autonomous vehicles and robotics.
