  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Renesas’ Ultra-Small DA14535 SmartBond TINY SoC, Ideal for Medical Disposables

Mouser is now stocking the DA14535 SmartBond TINY system-on-chip (SoC) from Renesas Electronics. The low-power, cost-effective DA14535 is one of the industry’s smallest and most power-efficient Bluetooth® 5.3 SoCs. This SoC achieves a low system cost through a high level of integration. The SoC is based on a 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M0+ microcontroller with a complete set of analogue and digital peripherals and incorporates a 2.4 GHz transceiver in a minuscule form factor of just 2.2 × 3.0 mm. By adding six external passives, a crystal oscillator, a power source, plus a 2.4GHz antenna, designers can build a complete Bluetooth Low Energy system for applications such as asset tracking and proximity tags, wireless sensor nodes, wearables, medical, human interface devices (HID), industrial appliances, and more. Mouser also stocks the DA14535MOD SmartBond TINY BLE 5.3 module, based on the DA14535 SoC. The low-power module is worldwide certified and features an integrated 1 Mbit NOR Flash, a 32 MHz XTAL and a printed antenna, enabling a faster time to market at reduced development costs. The DA14535 SmartBond TINY development kits, also available at Mouser, enable rapid demonstration and evaluation of the DA14535 SoC and are available in USB and Pro versions.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Infineon Technologies’ OptiMOS 6 150V Power MOSFETs, Offering Unparalleled Efficiency and Reliability

Mouser now offering the OptiMOS™ 6 150V Power MOSFETs from Infineon Technologies. These MOSFETs feature industry-leading on-state resistance (RDS(on)), improved switching performance, and excellent EMI behaviour. With low switching losses, the 150V family delivers exceptional efficiency, power density, and reliability for server power supply units (PSU), solar optimisers, high-power USB chargers, and telecommunication infrastructure. Improved conduction losses benefit motor inverters in e-forklifts and light electric vehicles (LEVs). These MOSFETs offer up to 41% lower (RDS(on)), 20% lower FOMg, and 17% lower FOMgd compared to the previous generation, OptiMOS 5. A faster and softer body diode lowers reverse recovery charge (Qrr) by up to 59% and reduces overshoot and ringing. The MOSFETs also feature high avalanche ruggedness and a maximum junction temperature of +175°C, ensuring robust and stable operation in demanding environments. With a wide package portfolio, the MOSFETs meet the stringent requirements of high- and low-switching frequency applications. The devices are designed to meet the requirements of drives and switched-mode power supply (SMPS) applications. They are offered in D2PAK 3-pin, D2PAK 7-pin, TO-220, TOLL, TOLT (for top-side cooling), and SuperSO8 package options for design flexibility. The OptiMOS 6 150V MOSFETs meet the Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) 1 standard, are halogen-free, and are RoHS compliant.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Offering BittWare’s IA-860m Altera Agilex 7 M-Series FPGA Card, Maximising Memory Bandwidth for Cloud, AI, and Advanced Analytics

Mouser is now shipping the IA-860m Altera® Agilex™ 7 M-Series FPGA card from BittWare. The IA-860m FPGA card features a hardened Network-on-Chip (NoC) that supports the industry’s highest memory bandwidth — over 800 GB/s using high-bandwidth memory (HBM2e). The IA-860m FPGA card balances input/output (I/O) and memory capabilities using the Agilex 7 chip’s distinctive tiling architecture. For demanding bandwidth requirements, the IA-860m FPGA card provides 3x 400G networking ports that can be configured for hard Ethernet media access control (MAC), physical coding sublayer (PCS), and forward error correction (FEC). This FPGA Card features PCIe Gen5 x16, doubling data transfer speeds compared to Gen4 and increasing performance capabilities for PC interconnect, graphics adapters, and chip-level communications. Compute Express Link (CXL) support allows high-speed, low-latency interfacing between CPUs and workload accelerators. The FPGA card also supports Intel oneAPI™, enabling an abstracted development flow for simplified code reuse across architectures. With three QSFP-DD cages and an MCIO expansion port, the IA-860m FPGA card meets the needs of a wide range of HPC, AI, and many other memory-intensive applications. The FPGA card is qualified for a range of data centre and edge server platforms. Optimised for throughput and memory-intensive applications, the IA-860m FPGA Card is ideal for cloud computing, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and factory automation.
