  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking BeagleBoard CC33 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth LE Wireless Modules

Mouser is now shipping the CC33 wireless modules from BeagleBoard. These modules are powered by TI’s 10th-generation connectivity chip (CC3301), delivering application throughput of up to 50 Mbps and are designed for reliable performance in extreme conditions (-40°C to +85°C), making them ideal for diverse applications requiring robust wireless connectivity. There are two variants to this module: The BeagleMod BM3301-1313 is a 13mm × 13mm BGA module, footprint-compatible with the TI WL18xxMOD series for easy drop-in design upgrades. The BeagleMod BM3301-1216 is a 12mm × 16mm M.2 1216 LGA module that includes an IPEX Gen 4 connector, and a u.FL antenna connector to simplify board layout, with both featuring Wi-Fi® 6, Bluetooth® Low Energy 5.4, and integrated 2.4 GHz PA for complete wireless solutions with up to +20.5 dBm output power. Ideal applications include industrial IoT, automotive, smart home, consumer electronics, healthcare, and embedded systems. Mouser also stocks the BeagleY®-AI single-board computer (SBC), a low-cost, open-source, community-supported development platform in a familiar form factor compatible with other popular SBC accessories.

  • New Product – Mouser Shipping New Qorvo QPA9822 Linear 5G High-Gain / High Drive Amplifier for 5G, mMIMO Applications

Mouser is now offering the QPA9822 linear 5G high-gain / high-drive amplifier from Qorvo. The QPA9822 is engineered specifically for 32-node massive multiple-input and multiple-output (mMIMO) systems found in wideband 5G, new radio (NR), instantaneous signal bandwidths, and mobile infrastructure applications. The QPA9822 is designed to enable wideband 5G, NR, instantaneous signal bandwidths of up to 530 MHz, making it ideally suited for the N77 band critical for 5G deployment and other mMIMO applications. The QPA9822 provides a 39dB gain at 3.5 GHz and achieves a peak power of +29dBm, currently the highest gain pre-driver in its class. The QPA9822 is internally matched to 50 ohms (Ω) over the entire operating frequency band of 3.3 – 4.2 GHz and incorporates a fast enable/disable function through the VEN pin. The QPA9822 also offers external bias control capability for linearity optimisation, supporting up to 530 MHz of instantaneous bandwidth, not only delivering the highest gain available on the market for 5G pre-drivers but also providing a scalable solution for 32T and 64T radios. Housed in a compact 16-pin, 3 x 3 mm SMT package, the QPA9822 is footprint and pin-compatible with the QPA9122M high-gain and high-linearity driver amplifier, allowing for easy integration into existing and new designs and easy deployment in popular bands in all geographies for 5G mMIMO systems.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Offering Microchip PIC32A High-Performance 32-Bit Microcontrollers for Automotive, Medical, AI and Consumer Industries

Mouser is now stocking the PIC32A high-performance 32-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) from Microchip Technology. The PIC32A MCUs help developers accelerate the execution of math-intensive applications that require advanced sensor interfacing and data processing. Designed to significantly reduce the need for external components, the PIC32A MCUs are cost-efficient, high-performance solutions for automotive, industrial, consumer, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and medical applications. These MCUs feature a 200 MHz 32-bit CPU and a 64-bit double-precision floating-point unit (DP-FPU) that manages data-intensive math processing applications efficiently and allows for easier adoption of model-based designs. Integrated features like 12-bit ADCs with up to 40 Msps, high-speed 5 ns comparators, and 100 MHz gain bandwidth product (GBWP) op amps allow for multiple functions to be performed on a single MCU, optimising both system and bill of material costs. The PIC32A devices also prioritise reliability and security, offering on-chip safety features, including error code correction (ECC) on Flash and RAM, Memory Built-In Self-Test (MBIST), I/O integrity checks, secure boot, Flash access control, and clock failure detection. These features offer safe execution of software code within an embedded control system application. The PIC32A family of MCUs is supported by the dsPIC33A Curiosity Platform development board and the EV25Z08A GP DIM bundle.
