- New Product – Mouser Stocking Ezurio Veda SL917 Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth LE 5.4 Modules for IoT, Medical, and Tracking Applications
Mouser is shipping the new Veda SL917 Wi-Fi® 6 + Bluetooth® LE 5.4 family of connected modules from Ezurio. The Veda SL917 is a breakthrough low-power solution that includes both system-on-chip (SoC) customisable modules and easy-to-integrate network co-processor (NCP) options for next-gen, ultra-low power, industrial wireless IoT, medical, smart building and home, consumer wearables and appliances, and asset tracking applications. These modules are based on the Silicon Labs SiWx917 chipset, purpose-built for IoT connectivity requiring Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Matter and IP networking for secure cloud connectivity. The Veda SL917 modules are ideal for battery-operated devices that need extended operating and battery life. The Veda SL917 SoC provides an embedded application processor, allowing the module to act as both the communications processor and application core processor for customised applications, with no requirement for a host processor to use the SL917 SoC in the application. The Veda SL917 application subsystem features an Arm® Cortex®-M4 core running at 180MHz, an ultra-low power sensor hub and an AI/ML accelerator, combined with a low-power wireless CPU subsystem delivering optimum Wi-Fi 6 performance in a fully certified, industrial package. The Veda SL917 NCP module supports embedded IP networks, BT, and secure connectivity stacks and applications. Development support for the Veda SL917 modules is supplied by the SL917 Explorer Kit (453-00222-K1) for the SoC modules and the MIKROE 6488 and MIKROE-6489 Click board for the NCP version.

- New Product – Mouser Now Offering Vishay AEC-Q200 IHPT-A Haptic Feedback Actuators for Automotive, Industrial and Consumer Applications
Mouser is now shipping the new AEC-Q200 IHPT-A haptic feedback actuators with an Immersion corporation license from Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. The AEC-Q200 IHPT-A actuators feature high force, High Definition (HD) vibrations for clear tactile feedback in noisy environments for consumer, medical and industrial LCD displays, touchscreens, touch switches, button control and automotive applications. These devices streamline the design-in process with immersion licenses, eliminating the need to purchase a separate license to implement sophisticated haptic effects. Vishay expands its lineup of IHPT solenoid-based haptic actuators featuring Immersion Corporation licenses with four new AEC-Q200 qualified devices for automotive applications, including dashboards, touchscreens, and centre consoles. These actuators feature two-piece magnetic solenoid construction in four sizes, with mounting holes comprised of a stationary “U” core and moving “I-bar” for easy implementation. Maximum output force varies from 25 to 120 Newtons depending on size. The AEC-Q200 IHPT-A devices drive up to a 0.5kg load to 6g of acceleration with a 12V, 5ms pulse, delivering high force and vibration capability for clear, HD tactile feedback. The low nominal 12V operation of the automotive IHPT-A devices eliminates the need for the additional high voltage circuitry required by piezo actuators and provides significant advantages over linear resonant, linear wideband, and eccentric rotating mass actuators while reducing component height and delivering higher force.

- New Product – Mouser Now Shipping BittWare’s AV-870p Accelerator Card with AMD Versal SoC, Enabling Challenging Compute and Networking Applications
Mouser is now offering the AV-870p Versal™ accelerator card from BittWare, a Molex company. The new PCIe Gen5 accelerator card is the result of a collaboration between BittWare and LDA Technologies, a leading provider of high-end FPGA-oriented solutions optimised for ultra-low latency operation. The AV-870p accelerator, with the AMD Versal Premium adaptive SoC, integrates power-optimised, network-ready cores on an adaptable platform for challenging compute and networking applications. The PCIe Gen5 accelerator card features AMD’s Versal Premium adaptive SoC, QSFP-DDs supporting up to 400G high-speed connections, in addition to two 8GB LPDDR4 memory chips (16GB in total). The board also supports a board management controller (BMC) with onboard CLI and APIs in Python and C++ for advanced system monitoring and control. The AV-870p accelerator card is deployment-ready with a standard height, three-quarter length, and dual-width PCIe form factor. The board includes USB access to BMC, USB-JTAG, and USB-UART, dual-width passive heatsink cooling, and onboard flash memory for FPGA booting. PCle Gen5 offers twice the data transfer speed of PCIe Gen4, as well as a high-speed interface between CPUs and workload accelerators. The AV-870p accelerator card supports blockchain, fintech, genomic sequencing, generative AI, packet processing, storage services and other demanding applications. BittWare’s AV-870p PCIe Gen5 accelerator card is designed to deliver extreme performance for data centre and edge computing workloads.
