  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping NXP Semiconductors RW612 Wireless Microcontroller for Matter, Industrial Automation and Smart Applications

Mouser is now stocking the RW612 wireless microcontroller from NXP® Semiconductors. The RW612 is a highly integrated, highly secure wireless MCU for smart home, gaming, industrial automation and smart accessory applications. This microcontroller is a Matter-compatible device enabling broader compatibility and connectivity with IoT devices and protocols sharing a single access point. The RW612 MCU combines Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) 5.4 radios supporting a long-range, high-speed, 2 Mbit/s data rate with extended advertising, plus 802.15.4 support for tri-radio integration with the Thread mesh networking protocol and Zigbee® protocol. The RW612 MCU is powered by a 260MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core with Trustzone™-M, 1.2MB of on-chip SRAM, and a quad SPI interface with a highly secure, on-the-fly decryption engine for secure external flash access in a space and cost-efficient wireless MCU requiring only a single 3.3 V power supply. The integrated EdgeLock® Secure Enclave (Core Profile) offers secure boot, debug, firmware updates, and life cycle management, as well as hardware cryptography and a physically unclonable function (PUF) for secure key management. The RW612 is PSA Certified Level 3 and SESIP Assurance Level 3. Mouser also offers the FRDM-RW612 development board, built on the FRDM platform, to accelerate rapid prototyping and development with the RW612 family of microcontrollers.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Qorvo Wi-Fi 7 Front End Modules, Delivering Wireless Connectivity for Mobile and Home Network Equipment

Mouser is now offering the newest Wi-Fi® 7 front end modules (FEM) from Qorvo, designed for customer premises equipment, smart home devices, portable consumer electronics and wearables. The QM45655 integrates a multi-transmit-state 5 GHz to 7 GHz frequency power amplifier. The QM42655 integrates a multi-transmit-state 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi power amplifier that is also used for high-performance Bluetooth (HP BT). These devices are optimised for a broad 3 V to 5 V operating range, making them ideal for mobile applications such as smartphones and tablets and wearables such as VR/AR goggles. The QPF4509 and QPF4609 are Wi-Fi 7 front end modules well suited for wireless access points, wireless routers, set-top boxes and customer premise equipment. The QPF4509 offers a 5.17 GHz to 5.895 GHz frequency range, while the 4609 provides a 5.925 GHz to 7.125 GHz range. These devices include integrated power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers and switches optimised for operation at 5V. This design conserves power consumption while maintaining the highest linear output power and leading-edge throughput. Qorvo’s QM45655EVB01, QM42655EVB, QPF4509EVB, and QPF4609EVB evaluation boards, also available to order from Mouser, provide a demonstration and development platform for these Wi-Fi 7 modules.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Offering Littelfuse / C&K Aerospace AeroSplice Reconnectable Wire Solutions for Demanding Military Environments

Mouser is now shipping the AeroSplice® reconnectable wire solutions from Littelfuse / C&K Aerospace. The wire-connecting products provide an easy-to-use, fast, and reliable alternative to manual wire splicing. The AeroSplice is suitable for high-performance, space-restricted aviation and defence applications. The AeroSplice allows users to connect wires using D*MA crimpable and removable contact technology for a wide range of standard wire gauges (28 AWG to 20 AWG) with one- or four-way connections. The AeroSplice wire solutions provide a 100% reliable connection and can reduce installation and inspection time by more than 60% compared with conventional splicing methods. The reconnectable design with removable crimp contacts also allows for easier and more cost-effective repairs. The wire solutions meet the demands of the aviation and defence industries, withstanding high vibration and temperatures from -55°C to +125°C. In aircraft systems, the AeroSplice solutions can be used for electric harness connections or integrating avionics components with minimal wiring. The AeroSplice solutions also ensure secure, vibration-resistant wiring in military and defence ground vehicles, UAVs, and radar systems. The solution supports mission-critical infrastructure like command-and-control systems or naval and marine defence applications.
