  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Bosch’s BHI360 Smart Sensor, Offering High Precision and Low Latency for Wearable and Smartphone Applications

Mouser is now stocking the BHI360 programmable inertial measurement unit (IMU) smart sensor from Bosch. The BHI360 sensor is an intelligent sensor system that delivers a best-in-class performance-to-power consumption ratio yet is simple to integrate due to its small size and built-in, ready-to-use software algorithms. The highly integrated, ultra-low-power sensor can be customised for a range of high-performance applications, including wrist wearable devices, head-mounted devices, smartphones, and AR/VR/MR headsets. The BHI360 combines a best-in-class gyroscope with an accelerometer enabling full customisation. The integrated sensor fusion library allows 3D audio with head orientation for personalised sound experiences, as well as simple gesture recognition. The BHI360 programmable IMU features an integrated, low-power custom processor. This custom processor can run simpler sensor processing algorithms thus avoiding waking the central device processor and keeping power consumption ultra-low. The BHI360 provides fast SPI (50 MHz) and I2C (3.4 MHz) host interfaces and multiple SPI, I2C, and GPIO interfaces for external sensors. Typical total current consumption is less than 600 μA for 3D orientation. The BHI360 smart sensor is supported by the BHI360 Shuttle Board 3.0.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking u-blox ZED-F9P-GNSS Module for Autonomous Vehicles and Robotics

Mouser is now stocking the ZED-F9P GNSS module from u-blox. The ZED-F9P provides engineers with precise, centimetre-level accuracy for industrial navigation, with high update rates and low power consumption, making the module ideal for dynamic applications like unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAV) and robotics. The ZED-F9P integrates multi-band GNSS and real-time kinematics (RTK) technology in a compact form factor, to deliver concurrent reception of GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou GNSS constellations. This module ensures the security of positioning and navigation information by using secure interfaces and advanced jamming and spoofing detection technologies, to provide a wide range of correction services to optimise performance according to each application’s unique set of needs. The module supports SPARTN format SSR-type correction services suitable for mass-market applications. This product is available in a 17.0mm x 22.0mm x 2.4mm Land Grid Array (LGA) package and features a -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range. u-blox modules are manufactured in ISO/TS 16949-certified sites and are fully tested on a system level. The ZED-F9P module is supported by the u-blox EVK-F9P-00 evaluation kit.
