Mouser is now shipping the new Nitrowave™ RF cable assemblies from Samtec. Nitrowave RF cable assemblies offer improved stability with flexure and Nitrowave cable technology for aerospace, defence, computer, and instrumentation applications. The RF cable assemblies are phase- and amplitude-stable with flexure and feature lower-density dielectric ratings, state-of-the-art shielding techniques, and silver-plating enhancements, ensuring mechanical and environmental robustness. The Nitrowave cable assemblies, recognisable by the distinctive Samtec orange Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP) jacket, are purposefully designed with a dynamic performance layer (DPL) that improves insertion loss performance, durability, strength, and stability by eliminating friction between cable shielding, resulting in more accurate, dependable performance throughout the service life of the cable, even when subjected to consistent movement and bending. Samtec’s orange Nitrowave cables are available in multiple target frequencies with a variety of connector end options and cable lengths, along with custom lengths for application-specific adaptability. Optional phase matching of cable pairs to 1, 2, or 5 picoseconds allows precise timing and optimal differential pair signalling signal integrity. These cables feature a 50Ω impedance rating, -90dB minimum shielding effectiveness, and a wide temperature range of -65°C to +125°C.

- New Product – Mouser Offering u-blox DAN-F10N L1/L5 Dual-Band Smart Antenna Module for Meter-Level Accuracy in Challenging Environments
Mouser is now stocking the DAN-F10N L1/L5 dual-band smart antenna module from u-blox. The DAN-F10N module is the industry’s smallest and most reliable L1, L5 dual-band Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) antenna module. The DAN-F10N antenna module provides consistent meter-level accuracy in challenging environments, making it an ideal choice for industrial, aftermarket telematics, and micromobility applications. The module is a ready-to-use solution that accelerates development cycles and reduces manufacturing costs. The DAN-F10N antenna module features an integrated SAW-LNA-SAW and an additional LTE B13 notch filter on the L1 RF path, offering excellent out-of-band jamming immunity. This feature ensures robust performance even when operating close to cellular modems. The module measures 20 × 20 × 8 mm3, is surface mountable, and integrates easily into modern GNSS applications without requiring RF expertise. The DAN-F10N L1/L5 module balances compact size and the performance of a right-hand circular polarised (RHCP) L1/L5 dual-band antenna. The DAN-F10N antenna module includes internal flash memory for firmware upgrades and supports an optional external active antenna for enhanced flexibility.
