● New Product – Mouser Now Offering Microchip Technology MCP16701 PMIC for High-Performance Network and Industrial IoT Applications
Mouser is now shipping the new MCP16701 power management integrated circuit (PMIC) from Microchip Technology. The MCP16701 is designed for high-performance microprocessor (MPU) and field-programmable gate array (FPGA) designers requiring a compact and flexible power management solution for wireline access networks, cellular infrastructure, defence, commercial aviation, and industrial IoT applications. The MCP16701 PMIC is a small-form-factor VQFN package integrating eight DC-DC Buck regulators with four 300 mA internal low dropout voltage regulators (LDOs) and a controller to drive external MOSFETs. A key feature of the MCP16701 is its ability to dynamically change Vout levels for all converters in 12.5 mV/25 mV increments, allowing maximum flexibility for designers to meet specific application requirements and enhance overall system efficiency and performance. It offers a low no-load operational quiescent current drawing less than 10 μA in full shutdown, making it suitable for high-performance µC/µP, FPGA, DSP, and MPU power supply solutions. The MCP16701 PMIC is specifically targeted for the following high-performance Microchip Technology microprocessors and FPGAs: the PIC64GX1000 64-bit RISC-V quad-core MPUs, the PolarFire® FPGAs and the PolarFire SoC FPGAs. Mouser also stocks the Microchip Technology EV23P28A evaluation board for demonstrating and testing of the MCP16701 IC capabilities.

● New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Sensirion STCC4 Miniature CO2 Sensor for Smart Environmental Applications
Mouser is now stocking the STCC4 miniature CO2 sensor from Sensirion. The STCC4 provides direct measurement of CO2 in an ultra-small 4 × 3 × 1.2 mm3 package for indoor air quality monitors, air conditioners, smart thermostats, and other space-constrained environmental monitoring applications. The sensor is fully factory-calibrated and features thermal conductivity sensing technology, low current consumption, and an I2C interface for seamless integration into compact electronic devices. Utilising the latest technological advancements, the STCC4 provides the accuracy needed for indoor air quality applications with both accurate signal compensation and monitoring of relevant environmental parameters when combined with Sensirion temperature and humidity sensors. The STCC4 miniature CO2 sensor has an SMD design optimised for high-volume assembly and tape-and-reel packaging. Mouser also stocks the Sensirion SEK-STCC4 evaluation kit, available to order, which features an integrated development board to evaluate the STCC4 CO2 sensor. The SEK-STCC4 evaluation kit requires a Sensirion Sensor SEK-SensorBridge to connect the bridge with the STCC4 sensor ports to develop sensor applications with proprietary plug-and-play hardware through a PC. The combined products enable the downloadable viewer software to evaluate sensors that measure humidity, temperature, gas, and carbon dioxide.
