  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking New TDK FS160x µPOL DC-DC Converters for AI, IoT, 5G and Big Data Applications

Mouser is now shipping the new FS160x µPOL™ DC-DC converters from TDK. The converters are easy to integrate and offer a wide input voltage range of 4.2V to 16V and three continuous load capacities: 3A, 4A, and 6A. The FS160x µPOL low-profile package is suitable for automated assembly using standard surface-mount equipment and features an on-chip pulse-width modulation (PWM) controller and integrated MOSFETs, with an incorporated inductor and capacitors, creating a compact and accurate regulator. The FS160x µPOLs device’s built-in protections include pre-biased start-up, overvoltage protection, soft-start protection, thermal shutdown with auto-recovery, and thermally compensated overcurrent protection with hiccup mode. These converters are ideal for big data, artificial intelligence (AI), 5G cells, and IoT. Mouser also stocks the TDK EV1603-5000-A evaluation boards, which provide a demonstration and development platform for the FS160x µPOL DC-DC converters.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Amphenol Wilcoxon’s 883M Digital Triaxial MEMS Accelerometer for Precise Industrial Condition-Based Maintenance

The 883M digital triaxial microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) accelerometer from Amphenol Wilcoxon is now available to order from Mouser.com. The 883M accelerometer features a triaxial accelerometer and temperature sensor for measuring acceleration up to ±16 g-peak. The sensor digitally outputs the vibration spectrum, time waveforms, and 15 calculated vibration metrics for each axis. With a frequency response range of 2 Hz to 5 kHz, the 883M accelerometer offers in-depth vibration analysis for detecting anomalies and evaluating the condition of a range of industrial equipment. The 883M accelerometer is compatible with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCSs), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and HMI displays. The sensor uses the Modbus Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) protocol to ensure stable data transmission. This Accelerometer features an IP67 rating and an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. The outputs align with ISO 10816-3 and ISO 20816-3 guidelines for evaluating mechanical vibrations. The 883M MEMS accelerometer is designed for rotating machinery, transmission systems, manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, and other industrial and automation applications requiring precise vibration monitoring.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Offering Nexperia PESD1ETH10L-Q and PESD1ETH10LS-Q ESD Protection for Automotive and EV Applications

Mouser is now stocking the new PESD1ETH10L-Q and PESD1ETH10LS-Q ESD (electro-static discharge) protection ICs from Nexperia. The ESD protection devices are fully compliant with the OPEN Alliance IEEE 10BASE-T1s, 100BASE-T1, and 1000BASE-T1 standards, and offer ESD protection up to 18kV (IEC 61000-4-2) that can withstand up to 1000 contact discharges at 15kV, making the devices highly reliable for automotive applications. The PESD1ETH10L-Q and PESD1ETH10LS-Q cover the full range of automotive board net voltages, including 12 V, typically found in cars; 24 V for trucks and larger commercial vehicles; and 48 V in hybrid and electric cars. The ESD protection ICs also feature a high trigger voltage of 100V and exceptionally low capacitance (0.4 pF), making them ideal for protecting higher-speed applications deploying 100BASE-T1 or 1000BASE-T1 in-vehicle networks, which helps maintain signal integrity. These diodes offer a single-line ESD protection solution with up to 18 kV, according to IEC 61000-4-2, and up to 15 kV with 1000 discharges, as per OPEN Alliance. The PESD1ETH10L-Q ESD device is supplied in a compact DFN1006-2 (SOD882) package. The PESD1ETH10LS-Q is housed in a DFN1006BD-2 (SOD882BD) package with side-wettable flanks, enabling visual inspection of solder joints during automated optical inspection (AOI) and enhancing solder joint reliability.
