  • New Product – Mouser Now Offering u-blox XPLR-HPG-2 Explorer Kit for Rapid Development of High Precision GNSS Applications

Mouser is now shipping the XPLR-HPG-2 Explorer kit from u-blox. The XPLR-HPG-2 Explorer kit provides a compact development and prototyping platform for cm-level accuracy positioning applications, such as autonomous robotics, asset tracking and connected health. The XPLR-HPG-2 Explorer kit is populated with four modules: the ZED-F9R, the NEO-D9S, the LARA-R6001D and the NINA-W106. Equipped with its GNSS and communication modules, the XPLR-HPG-2 Explorer kit can access correction data from a satellite broadcast via L-band satellite GNSS receiver or IP connectivity using LTE or Wi-Fi. The NINA-W10 wireless MCU module with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity runs the HPG software and controls the communications between the u-blox wireless modules. PointPerfect, the u-blox GNSS augmentation service, provides correction data delivered via the Thingstream IoT service delivery platform. The XPLR-HPG-2 also supports the Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol (NTRIP), therefore it can also be used with other error correction services.

  • New Fixture – Mouser-Backed DS PENSKE Formula E Racing Team Competed at the Diriyah Street Circuit in Saudi Arabia

Mouser cheered on the DS PENSKE Formula E racing team as it competed in rounds 2 and 3 of Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship at the Diriyah Street Circuit in Saudi Arabia on 26th and 27th January. The challenging 2.495 km Diriyah Circuit features over 20 turns and winds its way through the historic area, complete with its adobe brick buildings in a blend of the ancient and the ultra-modern. The existing road network has been upgraded to meet FIA standards, with the work performed in close collaboration with UNESCO to ensure that the area’s heritage is conserved for future generations. To add to the excitement, the races were run at night with the illumination of LEDs lining the track and on the cars. Team drivers for the race were Season 8 Champion Stoffel Vandoorne and two-time Formula E Champion Jean-Éric Vergne. The team got off to a solid start to the season in Mexico City with 12 points. Mouser is supporting the DS PENSKE team for the globe-trekking 2024 season in collaboration with TTI, Inc. and valued manufacturers Molex and KYOCERA AVX.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Stocking Espressif Systems ESP32-H2-MINI-1x BLE + IEEE 802.15.4 Modules for Matter IoT Applications

Mouser is now shipping the ESP32-H2-MINI-1x modules from Espressif Systems. The ESP32-H2-MINI-1x modules are powerful, generic Bluetooth® Low Energy and IEEE 802.15.4 combo modules optimised for Matter compatibility. Matter is an industry-unifying, IP-based connectivity protocol that streamlines building IoT applications while allowing seamless integration into a variety of ecosystems for smart homes, industrial automation, consumer electronics, smart agriculture and healthcare. The ESP32-H2-MINI-1x modules feature the ESP32-H2 System-on-Chip (SoC), a 32-bit RISC-V single-core CPU that operates at up to 96 MHz and features a low-power smart coprocessor to constantly monitor peripherals for maximum power efficiency. The ESP32-H2 integrates multiple protocols, a temperature sensor, general-purpose timers, a system timer, and a watchdog timer, as well as up to 19 GPIOs. The ESP32-H2-MINI-1x modules are ideal for building Thread end devices, as well as Thread border routers and Matter bridges, by combining them with an ESP Wi-Fi® SoC. The compact ESP32-H2-MINI-1x modules are pin-to-pin compatible with the ESP32-C3-MINI and ESP32-C6-MINI modules.
