  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Arduino’s Opta Micro Programmable Logic Controllers, Enabling Industrial IoT Applications

Mouser is now stocking the Opta® micro programmable logic controller (PLC) from Arduino. The easy-to-use controller allows designers to scale industrial automation projects using the open Arduino ecosystem. The Opta PLC supports real-time control, monitoring, and predictive maintenance, making it an ideal choice for Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and building automation applications. The micro PLC is based on the STM32H747XI dual-core microcontroller from STMicroelectronics, which includes a single high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M7 core running at up to 480 MHz and a lower-power Cortex-M4 core running at up to 240 MHz alongside a shared floating-point unit (FPU). The Opta is offered in three variants: Opta Lite, Opta RS485 and Opta WiFi. All models support over-the-air updates and feature a dedicated secure element for cryptographic assurances, plus relays for switching four loads of up to 2.3 kW each. The highly versatile controllers also include optional support for standard IEC 61131-3 PLC languages and fieldbus integration via Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU.

  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Amphenol Advanced Sensors Telaire T6793 High-Accuracy NDIR Carbon Dioxide Sensors for HVAC Applications

Mouser is now stocking the Telaire T6793 CO2 high accuracy NDIR carbon dioxide sensors from Amphenol. The Telaire T6793 sensors provide engineers with a flexible CO2 platform designed to interact with other microprocessor devices to measure and control CO2 levels for HVAC air quality, environmental and energy-saving applications. The Telaire T6793 is a miniature, non-dispersive, single-channel OEM CO2 sensor module with the accuracy and reliability of many larger sensors. This CO2 sensor meets the accuracy standards of CA Title 24 and has an accuracy rating of ±45 parts-per-million (ppm) +3% of reading in the measured range of 440 ppm to 2000 ppm. The product has a 4.4 V to 5.5 V supply voltage, a 200mA peak current with a 25mA average current that calibrates with most applications. The patented Telaire ABC Logic™ software features a lifetime calibration warranty, eliminating the need for calibration in most applications. The Telaire T6793 CO2 high accuracy NDIR carbon dioxide sensor’s ultra-small form factor (29.97 mm x 15.60 mm x 8.61 mm) and fast warm-up time provide an affordable gas sensing solution for OEMs with applications requiring an operating temperature range of -10C to +60C and relative humidity of 0% to 95% (non-condensing).

  • New Product – Mouser Now Shipping Analog Devices LTM8080 µModule Regulator for Low-Noise Sensitive Applications

Mouser is now shipping the LTM8080 µModule® regulator from Analog Devices, Inc. The LTM8080 is a super low-noise, dual output DC/DC μModule regulator with patented silicon, layout and packaging innovations, specifically designed to power digital loads while reducing switching regulator noise for data converters, RF transmitters, FPGAs, op-amps, transceivers, medical scanners and more. The LTM8080 features an integrated front-end, high efficiency, synchronous Silent Switcher® step-down regulator, supported by two separate low noise, low dropout (LDO) regulators. The LTM8080’s packaging also integrates an EMI barrier shield to create exceptional low noise values. Operating from 3.5 V up to 40 V input, this µModule Regulator has a built-in voltage tracking function that automatically sets VBUS to either 2.5 V nominal or 1 V higher than VOUT1, whichever is greater, to achieve superior noise performance and minimise power dissipation. The LTM8080 offers an intermediate power bus and dual output 0.5 A LDO regulators, which are adjustable to 3.3 V/0.5 A, and the package includes the controllers, power switches, inductors, and support components. The LTM8080 is packaged in a thermally enhanced, compact (9 mm × 6.25 mm × 3.32 mm) over-molded ball grid array (BGA) package, suitable for automated assembly by standard surface mount equipment, plus is RoHS compliant.
