Obtain environmental data with Digilent Pmod Sensor Modules and Arduino

Digilent Pmod is an established add-on board standard offering an ideal way to bridge system boards to the physical world. Users can easily augment the capabilities of system boards by adding Pmods. The Pmod modules are ideal for rapid prototyping. Pmods communicate with system boards using 6, 8 or 12-pin connectors and standard interfaces including SPI, I²C, UART, GPIO, H-bridge and I²S.

With Pmod Sensor Modules, engineers and developers can measure physical inputs from the environment and pass these data to systems or host boards. For example, Arduino users can plug in Digilent Pmod Ambient Light Sensor to detect the light intensity and possibly build a robot navigating the room based on the ambient light. Apart from Pmod Ambient Light Sensor, Digilent has offered a range of Sensor Pmods including temperature sensor, humidity sensor, accelerometer.

It is our goal to get users up and running with useful data in just a matter of minutes. To better serve the Arduino community, we have created application notes. Each includes Arduino sketch and Fritzing schematics.
