Professional and compact soldering station: JBC-NASE-2C
Dual-channel station JBC-NASE-2C is a product from the renowned Spanish manufacturer JBC Tools. It belongs to the Nano series, designed for soldering and desoldering the smallest SMD components in packages such as 0402, 0201, or 01005. It is also suitable for work under a microscope. The maximum power of the device reaches 14W per channel, and the temperature range is from 90°C to 450°C with stability at ±3°C.
The station comes with a precision soldering iron JBC-NT115-A, micro-tweezers JBC-AN115-A, and 8 C115 tips ranging from 0.1mm to 2.5×0.3 mm, shaped as cones, screwdrivers, or knives. Additionally, the buyer receives two metal cleaners, a JBC-P405 pedal (described below), an Allen key, and a power cable with a European plug.
Tips from the C115 series, compatible with both tools, have built-in heaters located close to their tips. This ensures faster heating, increased efficiency, and precise temperature readings. From the TME catalog, you can purchase dozens of different variants of these tips, allowing you to select the appropriate model for each case and individual preferences.
The JBC-NASE-2C station is designed with ergonomic work in mind. Included tool holders have cable guides, preventing cords from interfering during soldering; this also minimizes the risk of damage from accidental overheating. When placing the soldering iron or tweezers in the holder, sleep or hibernation mode activates automatically. This reduces tip wear, thereby extending their lifespan. Moreover, tips can be exchanged hot and tool-free, without unnecessary downtime.

Temperature and station settings are adjusted via buttons, and data is displayed on a color LCD screen. The user can, among other things:
- adjust the time to transition to sleep or hibernation mode,
- set the temperature in these modes,
- perform calibration,
- configure up to 25 temperature profiles,
- lock the station with a 4-digit code,
- switch units between °C and °F.
It is also possible to view statistics and display temperature tip and power supply graphs as a function of time.
In addition to two Nano tool ports, the JBC-NASE-2C station features:
- 2 connectors for control pedals,
- grounding socket,
- 2 USB ports for exporting data and firmware updates,
- RJ12 connector for communication with accessories, e.g., fume extractor, which automatically activates only during operation.
The included footswitch can be used when working with micro-tweezers. After connecting, it must be enabled in the station’s options. Then, power is delivered only while the footswitch is pressed. This allows positioning SMD components on the PCB without premature heating.
The JBC-NASE-2C station is the right choice wherever reliability and high precision are required, such as in electronics design, prototype development, and even in production environments. It is also ideal for servicing compact devices.
