TDK-Lambda DIN rail power supplies

DRB and DRB 3 Phase – universal power supplies for industry

The DRB series is a proven switching power supply for typical applications in control cabinets, machines, and technological installations. They combine a compact design with good energy efficiency and compliance with industrial standards requirements.

Single-phase models cover power ranges from 15W to 480W. The most commonly used output voltages are available, including 12V, 24V, and 48V. The housing design allows efficient use of space on the DIN rail, which is important in distribution panels where space saving is essential.

The DRB 3 Phase version is a three-phase solution with power up to 960W. It is adapted for operation with AC or DC power, offering high efficiency and very good resistance to disturbances. Thanks to the parallel operation function and advanced diagnostic signals (including DC-OK), it is suitable for more demanding industrial systems where process stability and high installation availability are important.

Typical applications:

  • production lines and industrial machines,
  • automation distribution panels,
  • charging systems and renewable energy installations,
  • building technical infrastructure.

DRF and D1SE – high efficiency and greater design flexibility

The power supply is designed to operate within the temperature range of -25 to 70°C

The DRF series is designed for applications where high efficiency, reduced heat loss, and energy-saving operation in idle mode are important. Models with power ratings from 120W to 960W achieve efficiency up to 94% and offer 150% peak power, facilitating powering loads with high inrush current.

Units are narrow, allowing reduction of the width of the field in the control cabinet. Remote on/off control and output status signaling increase integration capabilities with the master system.

DRF series power supplies

The D1SE series is a new generation of power supplies with power from 120 to 480W, distinguished by very high efficiency (up to about 95%) and the ability to operate with both AC and DC voltages. The boost power function increases design flexibility especially when modernizing existing systems.

The use of push-in terminals speeds up assembly and improves vibration resistance. Versions with protected printed circuit coatings are also available, designed for environments with increased humidity or significant dust.

Recommended for:

  • modern control cabinets where space saving is necessary,
  • energy-saving applications,
  • modernization of existing installations,
  • systems operating in harsh industrial conditions.

DRL – low-profile power supplies for building automation and light industry

The DRL series consists of compact, low-profile power supplies with power ratings from 10W to 100W. They are intended for applications where small dimensions, double insulation (class II), and simplified installation without the need to connect a protective conductor are important.

High efficiency, low energy consumption at no load, and long lifespan of electrolytic capacitors make DRL series power supplies suitable for systems operating continuously, such as building automation, HVAC controllers, and auxiliary installations.

Applications:

  • BMS systems,
  • ventilation and air conditioning controllers,
  • monitoring and measurement equipment,
  • simple automation circuits with low power.

DRM40 – redundancy modules for systems with increased availability

Redundancy module for DIN rail

The DRM40 series consists of redundancy modules designed to work with 24V DC power supplies. They enable creating N+1 configurations or parallel connection of two units to increase reliability.

Low internal voltage drop reduces power loss, and status signaling along with optional current balancing indicators facilitate diagnostics. This is a solution for applications where power interruption means production downtime or risk of data loss.

Typical areas of use:

  • systems with continuous 24/7 operation,
  • IT and telecommunications infrastructure,
  • technological installations with high reliability requirements.

DBM20 – buffer modules for short-term power backup

DBM20 is a 24V DC buffer module that extends power backup time in case of a short power outage. Energy is stored in electrolytic capacitors, providing additional runtime sufficient to safely stop processes or save data.

Parallel operation of multiple modules is possible to extend backup time. This solution is effective wherever short voltage dips could cause uncontrolled equipment shutdowns.

This model achieves efficiency up to 98%

The DUSH series consists of DC power supplies with uninterruptible power supply functionality, designed for DIN rail mounting. The devices support a wide range of input and output voltages and work with various types of energy storage, from lead-acid and nickel batteries to lithium batteries and supercapacitors.

An integrated DC/DC converter separates the load voltage from the battery voltage, allowing stable output parameters. The monitoring system (including via Modbus RTU) enables control of operating status, battery parameters, and system diagnostics.

UPS-function power supplies

This solution is intended for applications where continuous power is critical, such as process industry, critical infrastructure, measurement, and communication systems.
