This web seminar focuses on the potential impacts of upcoming autonomous driving features will have on the system design and performance of a plugin hybrid electric vehicle. We will explore these effects through system simulation with a model that can evaluate the impact of vehicle acceleration, battery power consumption, and driving range under different driving profiles. In addition, thermal subsystems will be specifically investigated including motor, transmission, and power inverter module cooling. More info can be found here.
